What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser so that it can remember something between pages or visits. Some are essential to a site working; others measure how it is used, or tell an advertiser that an advert led you to it. Your browser also has similar stores (local storage) that a site can use in the same way; this page treats them all as cookies.
How this site uses them
This site sets one cookie of its own, to remember your cookie choice. Nothing else is set until you say yes. When you first visit, a small panel offers you three ways forward: accept all, reject all, or choose the categories you are happy with. Rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting, and the site works the same either way.
At the time of writing neither Google Analytics nor the Meta Pixel is running on the site. Both are prepared so that, when switched on, they can only ever run for a visitor who has accepted the category they belong to, and this page will be updated when either goes live.

Set by other sites
The performance films are played by YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode, which means YouTube sets nothing until you press play on a film. Once you do, YouTube may set its own cookies and local storage under Google's cookie policy.
Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time. Press the button below and the same panel appears with your current settings; save, and the new choice applies from then on.

Your choice is kept for 180 days, after which you are asked again. Withdrawing consent stops new cookies being set and expires the ones the site can reach; a cookie already set by Google or Meta may remain in your browser until it expires, and you can delete it yourself through your browser's settings, which also let you block cookies from any site. Blocking the essential cookie means the panel will ask you again on each page.
